The most important thing to remember when wearing makeup is you need to feel comfortable in what you are wearing, looking
like yourself. If you have access to lines like Bobbi Brown, Lorac, MAC, Stila, Nars, etc., I would suggest starting there.
They each offer a variety of color options that are suitable for
everyone. Now, onto color choices. The best color choices in
general are more on the neutral side. I would suggest sticking
with brown-based color eyeshadows, blushes and lipsticks. But
wearing COLOR that is brown-based is key in making your eye
color pop.
Some of my favorite MAC eyeshadow suggestions for green/brown
eyes would be Shroom as a base color, Haux and or Shag in the
crease or outer corner of the eye, Sketch as a liner and Strada
or Cubic Blush. I also love MAC’s new peachy pink shimmer
called Trixie. This color would be great on your eyes and
cheeks. Check out MAC lipsticks in Lame, Sequin, Viva Glam II,
and Spirit for the shades listed above or Plastique and Oh Baby
or Prr gloss for peachier eye colors, like the Stila ones below.
Using red-brown or plummier shades will definitely pop the color
of your eyes, as well as peachy or orangier brown colors. Stila
eyeshadows like Kitten or Sun as a base, and Barefoot Contessa,
Eden, or Heath in crease would also be pretty. If you are
looking at these Stila colors, check out Jane or Fiona lipstick.
You really do have so many options. Also check out Bobbi Brown
Bone, Taupe, Stone, Heather, Shell and Petal (a favorite on
greenish eyes) shadows. Actually, all of her shadows and
lipsticks are perfect as they are all brown based and work well
on all skintones. I love love love Bobbi’s Sand Pink Shimmer
lipstick with just about anything.
If you want to wear more color options, I would suggest just one
shimmery eyeshadow swept across the lid in either lavender (MAC
Crystal, Stila O’Keefe and Viola, Bobbi Brown Lavender
Shimmer), green or pinky peach (Stila Sun or Shell and MAC
Bliss, Hush and Trixie). Just experiment and have fun.
However, I would suggest with your description to go much
lighter on the makeup as to not overwhelm your wonderful
features. Go have your makeup done by a few artists to help
with your look. And remember to have fun. Good luck!
