I only have a few minutes in the morning to apply make-up. How do I put on everything I need in a short amount of time without looking like a slob?

With so many options for making your skin looks its best and accentuating your best features, doing your makeup in under 5 minutes is a snap! Here are a few ideas that may come in handy.

If you can, use concealer instead of full foundation just on
the areas of your face that need it, like dark circles and
blemishes. Now, having said that, I find that approach is
completely unrealistic for me, since my skin’s overall tone can
be uneven and blotchy. I like to put foundation on my whole face
to create a smooth, even surface. If you are lucky enough to
just need coverage in a few spots, apply concealer where you
need it and some loose powder all over. If you are like me and
need foundation, choose something quick and easy to blend, like Maybelline Express Makeup 3 in 1, Revlon New Complexion One-Step Makeupicon, Jane Iredale PurePressed Baseicon, or Prescriptives
Photochrome. Stick or compact makeup is fast and portable, so
you can take it with you to school, the office, or the gym.

Use creamy, neutral colors for eyes, lips, and cheeks that are
interchangeable. You can apply them easily with your fingers,
and you don’t have to think about what colors go with it - just
use the same thing all over. Some good ones to check out are L’Oreal Quick Stick Face and Body Blushicon, BeneFit Nine One One, Stila All Over Shimmer, and Cargo ColorTube.

If you like to define your eyes with more than mascara, use the
same dark shadow for eye liner and for filling in and shaping
your brows. You can use the shadow dry with an angled brush for
brows, and dampened with a thin liner brush for eyes.

Skip lip liner and lip colors that are labor intensive and need
to go on perfectly. Try a light gloss like Sonia Kashuk Lip
Glossing, a stay-on lipcolor like Revlon ColorStay Liquid Lipicon, or a stain like Philosophy The Supernaturals Lip & Cheek Tint.
