I have really pale skin and I don’t know what makeup to wear and still look like myself. Can you help?

If you are looking to even out your skin a bit, start with a
tinted moisturizer. Most lines are now making these products,
including the drugstore lines, and are making them in a range of
shades that includes very fair colors. Revlon makes two worth
checking out, Even Out Makeup and Color Stay Light. If you want
to try department store cosmetics, look at Prescriptives
Unmakeup, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizericon, MAC Tinted
Moisturizer
, and Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer. Another option
would be just starting with a powder to even out your skin.
Also check out Revlon for this, as they make a great powder
foundation, as does Neutrogena. I would also recommend a blush
or all over stick with a bit of shimmer. Cover Girl makes some
great options, as does Nars, Stila and MAC. These are great to
use on eyes, cheeks and lips. I would then top off your look
with a bit of lipgloss, which all lines are making these days.
Using only one great shimmer shadow works best and still looks
hip and trendy.

If you would like to learn to apply makeup in general, I would
suggest booking an appointment at a makeup counter. Check out
the counters and see who is wearing makeup that you like. This
is always helpful in getting the right look, and you definitely
don’t want to overdo it. Check out the drugstore lines, too, as
you can get a great look and experiment at a lower cost. Good
luck!
